It’s been over a year since Odell Beckham Jr. last played a down in the NFL.

In fact, the three-time Pro Bowl receiver has missed two full seasons in the last four years due to several serious injuries.

But it’s been speculated for months that Beckham Jr. is on track to return to the field sometime in 2026, though which he team he might play for is still up in the air. As for there being truth to Beckham Jr.’s comeback story, the WR himself dropped a big hint about his NFL future.

“When you work out man, is it like you know you’re going to get a call? You know someone is going to call you to bring you in?” Brandon London of the New York Post recently asked him.

Beckham Jr. replied: “I think you just rely on the things you always relied on, which is my faith. God has placed a special purpose and journey for me. Being able to spend that time away just made me realize some things. You know, I left some things unfinished. So, hopefully we’ll see what (God) got working out.”

“So if anyone out there questions if OBJ still got it, what would you say to them?” London pressed.

“I guess we’re going to find out soon,” Beckham Jr. said with a smirk.

It’s been speculated that Beckham Jr. could re-sign with the New York Giants — the team that drafted him 12th overall in the 2014 draft — after he worked out with the team earlier in the offseason.

Beckham Jr. even hinted that he hoped he would land back with the Giants next season.

“You know, it’s a place I never wanted to leave,” Beckham Jr. said. “And it’s just a special place in my heart just to see all these Big Blue jerseys. Just hoping for the best.”

In five seasons with the Giants, Beckham Jr. totaled 390 catches, 5,476 yards, and 44 touchdowns. He won Offensive Rookie of the Year, made all three of his Pro Bowls and his two All-Pro selections with the team.
